Returns & Order Issues

We hope you are delighted with your order from The Outrageous Peacock. As our products are supplied for resale, our returns policy differs from standard retail purchases. Please read the terms below carefully.

Order Confirmation & Delivery

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email which includes a delivery note and a photo of the boxes included in your order. A physical delivery note is also included within your parcel.

We kindly ask that all orders be checked against the delivery note upon arrival.

Returns

Due to the nature of wholesale orders, we are unable to accept returns for unwanted or unsold items.

However, in the unlikely event that there is an issue with your order, we will be happy to assist, provided the following conditions are met:

  • You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • All items must be unused and in their original packaging

  • Clear photographic evidence must be provided where applicable

  • Your claim must match the items shown on your delivery note

 

If these criteria are not met, we may be unable to process a claim.

Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Items

Once your order has been dispatched, we rely on our courier partners for safe delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or with items missing, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the issue, including packaging and contents.

Where approved, we will offer a suitable resolution, which may include a replacement, credit, or refund. If a replacement item is unavailable, a refund will be issued for the affected item.

Faulty Items

All products are carefully checked before dispatch to ensure they meet our quality standards.

In the unlikely event of a fault, please provide photographic evidence along with details of the issue. Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer a replacement, credit, or refund.

We reserve the right to decline claims where products appear to have been dropped, misused, or not used in accordance with the provided care guidance.

Please note that natural characteristics of soy wax, including frosting, slight colour variation, or minor surface imperfections, are normal and do not affect performance. These are not considered faults.

Returns Shipping

If a return is required and approved, we will advise you on how to proceed.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is confirmed as damaged, faulty, or incorrect.

We recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

Refunds

The total value of the item/s returned to us will be refunded to the same account payment was made from, upon the item/s being returned safely to us. The refunded amount will show in your account within 7 working days, though typically this happens sooner.

 

Broken Item/s:

Once the shipment is processed, we rely on the courier to safely deliver your parcel. In the event that your parcel has arrived damaged, it will be replaced immediately, providing a photo of each damaged item is sent to hello@theoutrageouspeacock.co.uk, as soon as it is discovered.

If any item is out of stock, a full refund to the value of the broken item will be provided.

 

Damaged or Defective Item/s

All of our products are thoroughly checked to ensure they are of the highest quality and match the product description you were provided with at the time of purchase. Occasionally, damaged items can be missed at the time of dispatch and as such, a replacement will be provided, as long as you are able to provide photo evidence of said damage. If it appears the product has been dropped or misused since safely arriving to you, we reserve the right not to process a refund.

In rare instances whereby a product has become faulty during use, it is essential that you have followed the care guide provided within your order. When resolving any issues relating to faults during use, we will require photographic evidence and may require further information to ensure a resolution is met. If the product has been misused and/or the relevant care card hasn't been followed, we are unable to provide a refund or replacement.

 

Natural imperfections may be visible before or during use. This can include minor cracks (due to noticeable room temperature changes) or frosting/colour changes (a natural occurrence in Soy wax). None of the aforementioned surface imperfections will negatively affect the performance of the product and therefore are not criteria fitting of damage or faults.

Please ensure you follow all of the product usage guidance provided within your order, to achieve the best performance from your products.
